Read and Rise

For parents and their children ages 2-3 years old. This session runs Fridays at 10:30.

Read and Rise is a free, six-session playgroup offered by Self Help Inc.’s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program and designed to help families to support their children’s early literacy development. Children and parents will participate in stories, songs, activities, simple art projects and playgroup routines that focus on literacy. Each family will receive a children’s book to keep after each session that they attend.

Although we know things may come up, when you register, please try to commit to attending all six sessions: Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb. 27, March 6
