Read & Rise

This is a six-week toddler literacy playgroup for children ages 2-3 run by Nancy Swirka from Self Help Inc.'s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program.

All families have strengths they can draw upon to foster children's literacy. This free, six-session playgroup will help
families to support their children's early literacy development. Children and parents will be actively engaged in books, songs, activities, hands-on materials and playgroup routines. Each week, every family will receive a different children's book.

We ask that families make a commitment to attending for all six weeks, although we understand when things come up.
