
EPOCH Assisted Living at Norton has hired Samantha Bennett as Life Enrichment Director. Bennett will organize and lead activities that enhance EPOCH residents’ quality of life.
Prior to joining the EPOCH team, Bennett served as the activities director at the assisted living and skilled nursing facility Cortland Place, where she organized life enrichment programs for three different Alzheimer’s units as well as her regular unit.
Bennett also worked for Golden Living Center at the Garden Place and Norwood locations. After being promoted from a dietary aide to an activities aide, she discovered her passion for working closely with seniors and helping improve their lives. She was soon promoted to activities director at Norwood.

Bennett said, “I enjoy spending time with residents and making their golden years truly wonderful. I enjoy knowing I’m making a difference every day. I love what I do. I wake up each morning and am energized when I walk through these doors.”
Bennett is pursuing her activities director certification and has completed MEPAP I and II, the Modular Education Program for Activities Professionals. She is a member of the Massachusetts Council of Activities Professionals and regularly attends the annual conference.
