State Police Investigating Head-on Collision on Route 495
Police say a vehicle crossed the median while traveling on the highway in Norton.
NORTON, MA - State police are now investigating a head-on crash that took place on Route 495 North in Norton.
At approximately 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, a Dodge Ram pickup traveling on Route 495 South crossed the grass median and entered the northbound side if the highway, colliding with a Nissan. The operator of the Nissan sustained serious injury and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
A preliminary investigation by state police indicates that the Dodge Ram was operated by a 35-year-old man. No other information has been released.
