Stormy Night Adds to Excitement of New Testament Graduation Ceremony
Twenty two seniors receive their diplomas.
It was a dark and stormy night Thursday, as 22 seniors gathered to celebrate their graduation. Though this might sound like the beginning of a ghost story, it was a momentous and cheerful night. In fact, hearing the thunder shake the windowpanes and seeing the lightning illuminate the Cole Chapel on the campus only added to the excitement.
In a photo slideshow graduate Amanda Taylor put together with the help of her classmates, parents and faculty saw the students grow up before their eyes. Laughter and “Aaaws” resonated in the chapel.
Graduate Christian Desmarais said that he will miss his classmates and teachers the most. But he also noted that a lot lies in his future, as he plans to marry fellow graduate and fiancé Allyson Lailer.

“It goes by really fast,” said Desmarais about his time at New Testament. “People say it goes by fast, but it’s unbelievable how fast it goes by.”
On behalf of everyone at Patch, we wish the following graduates the best in their future endeavors:
