Unearth Your Roots Genealogy Workshop
Join us for a beginner's genealogical workshop that will help you unearth your roots! Genealogical research is quickly becoming one of the most popular special interest hobbies. This workshop will focus on free resources available at the library as well as online sources. Each participant will leave with strategies, resources, forms, and charts to help them begin their family search. There is a vast (and growing) body of information available to those looking to discover their heritage. Let professional genealogist Christine Cook help guide you as you begin your genealogical journey.
Christine Cook is the genealogist behind Root Tracer Genealogy Research Services. She has over 20 years experience doing genealogy research and has also worked as a lecturer and instructor. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, and the National Genealogical Society.      Location: Community Room
