Vandalism, Accidents in Norton Police Log: July 7 - 8

Saturday, July 7
7:07 a.m.: Margaret Drive, vandalism. Caller reports kids in the neighborhood have been going around knocking on doors and running. Last night she heard a loud boom and when she got up this morning her house had been egged. Requesting extra patrols in the neighborhood during the late evening and early morning hours.
12:23 p.m.: E. Main Street, vandalism. Caller requesting log note, reports two tires slashed on her car.
4:45 p.m.: E. Main Street, domestic disturbance.

Sunday, July 8
2:22 a.m.: Pleasant Street, Attleboro. Assisted Attleboro Police Department in search for two men on foot looking in car windows.
9:49 a.m.: N. Washington Street, assisted Norton Fire Department for bicyclist down on the Route 495 overpass. Caller states unconscious male in his 40s gasping for air. Caller states he does have a faint pulse. Transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
1:59 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident with injuries. Pole struck, no visible damage. Verizon advised.
5:46 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident with property damage.
6:45 p.m.: N. Washington Street, suspicious condition. Caller reports someone dragging an SUV down the railroad tracks and dumping it across the street from his residence. Highway Department to pick up kid’s Jeep.
10:42 p.m.: Mary Jo Way, suspicious condition. Caller reports underage party on Mary Jo Way at house under construction. Vehicles at location, owners contacted. They will be leaving. Appears to be no damage to property.
