Video and Photo Gallery: Yelle Students Stars of Champion Breakfast

A Champions Breakfast to honor the eight Henri A. Yelle Elementary School Special Olympians and their families was held Wednesday morning.

Among those participants were Sarah Martin, Matthew Cobb, Joey Carroll, Olivia Lefebvre, Bryan Holmes, Daniel Bortolotti, Dee Dee Sheehan and Iverson Smith.

"All of them have brought home the gold to the Yelle Elementary School," said Karen Duross, event coordinator at Yelle.

The event began with Yelle principal Lisa Farrell handing out roses and photos to the athletes and recognizing all the volunteers that helped, including Norton police officers and firefighters. The party then moved to the cafeteria, where they were served donuts, bagels, fruit and other items. And to top it all off, Norton firefighters gave the kids a tour of their truck.
