Though it was more like spring, approximately 500 students, parents and friends visited the annual Winter Carnival that took place at Saturday, March 12. In addition to being a fun event for kids to enjoy face painting, games, raffles and food, the carnival is also a fundraiser.
“We don’t have the definite numbers of what was raised this year, but we generally raised several thousand dollars for the instructional programs that the LGN PTA funds,” said principal Danielle Klingaman.
