J. C. Solmonese Elementary presents third grade science fair.
Third grade students at presented their science fair projects to peers and parents Friday, March 11. There were many projects from showing the properties of magnets to studying the hibernation habits of animals.
“I think the science fair was fantastic and the students learned many 21st Century skills while working on their project and then presenting it,” said principal Riitta Bolton. “They each had to find an answer to an essential question that they investigated. I stopped to talk to just about every student during the fair and was pleased to find out that they could all give me a detailed answer.”
