Wheaton College Graduation Set For Saturday

Wheaton College's 178th Commencement will be held Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. in the Dimple. Seating is virtually unmiled, but you should plan to arrive early for the best seating.

The keynote speaker will be Nancy Gertner, former federal judge and attorney known for her championing of civil rights, civil liberties and the rights of women. Gertner will receive an honorary degree

Two distinguished alumnae, Patricia Flaherty '83 and Diane Leshefsky Troderman '63, will also receive honorary degrees.  Flaherty is senior project manager for Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services in Boston, and Troderman is a noted philanthropist in education and Jewish culture.
