Wild Turkey Strikes Vehicle On 495: Police
A woman was injured when she was struck by glass after a turkey flew into her windshield.
NORTON, MA — A woman was injured after being struck by a wild turkey while driving on Route 495 South Saturday evening. The 30-year-old Saugus woman was treated at the scene after being struck by the broken glass after the turkey hit her windshield.
State Police said the crash occurred around 6 p.m. north of Exit 9. The woman was driving a 2014 Toyota Corolla when "a wild turkey flew into her windshield, shattering the glass."
