World Series MVP Big Papi to Produce Show on MTV

To those of us in Red Sox Nation, David Ortiz is the producer of clutch hits.

But MTV executives see Big Papi producing something else: a hit TV series.

The as-yet-unnamed show would meld baseball and pop culture in a 30-episode series set at the Major League Baseball Fan Cave in Manhattan, according to the Associated Press via ESPN.
