Your Guide: Attend an Outdoor Children's Movie at the Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary

Arrive to the movie early and visit with the animals fortunate enough to be rescued by this commendable organization.

The Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary offers a children's movie night every Saturday night throughout the summer. The move begins at sunset, but why not come early and explore the magnificent animals who are extremely well cared for by generous volunteers.

Winslow Farm Animal Awareness is a non-profit organization established in 1996 devoted to the rescue and care of abandoned and mistreated animals. It became open to the public in 1997 to provide the community the opportunity to meet and interact with the 183 animals that live on the farm.

The farm houses over 183 animals, including 3 alpacas, 56 cats, 2 dogs, 2 donkeys, 21 goats, 10 horses, 3 llamas, 4 pigs, 5 rabbits and 4 sheep.

Lots to Do at Winslow Farm:

Winslow Farm offers a variety of animal-related activities this weekend as well as throughout the year. It offers pony rides, group educational tours, nature hikes and a chance to really make a difference in their rehabilitation by exposing the animals to a population where they can learn to trust again.

There are many ways the local public can help the Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary: volunteering, visiting the farm, hosting an event or birthday party or a direct tax deductable monetary donation.

Children's Movie Night

The children's movie will be shown on a outdoors super-sized movie screen. Bring a comfortable chair or blanket and enjoy the show under the stars! Cost is $5 per person. age 2 and under are free.
