Norwood-area shoppers still have a short window to visit during the liquidation sale, where the locally owned Frugal Fannie's is promising deep discounts on women's clothing, shoes, and accessories before shutting its doors for good.
• Norfolk County Register of Deeds Warns Homeowners of Deed Scam (town.news) — Norfolk County's Register of Deeds is warning Norwood and other local homeowners to ignore mailers from an out-of-state company charging up to $128 for deed copies that the Registry provides online for free or by mail for just a few dollars. Residents are urged to treat these "Recorded Deed Notice" letters skeptically, verify any payment requests, and instead use the official Norfolk Registry website or customer service center.
