People who live and work at Brooksby Village celebrated the 4th of July with a parade featuring Mayor Edward Bettencourt, State Rep Leah Cole, Peabody Cheerleaders, McGruff the Crime Dog and more.
“Nine years ago we had our first parade and there were 22 marchers, said Gayle Hills, Customer Service and Communications Manager, Brooksby Village. “Every year we try to add a few new items to the parade line up. This year we had over 100 people participating including the Mayor of Peabody, Girl Scouts, 10 antique cars and much more. People who live and work here and their families all come to watch the parade. It’s a great event.”
