$2 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Peabody

The store that sold the ticket received a $20,000 bonus for its sale.

PEABODY, MA — A $2 million instant ticket was recently sold at the D & R Market on Foster Street in Peabody.

The Massachusetts State Lottery said the MAWKM Trust of Quincy claimed the prize in the "Lifetime Millions" game.

The trust, represented by trustee Meghan Huber, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $1.3 million — before taxes.
