40+ People Participate in 15th Annual Brooksby Village Marathon

Peabody, MA -- More than 40 people who live and work at Brooksby Village retirement community participated in the 15th annual Brooksby Village Marathon.

“What a great day we had this year,” said Rokia Paone, Fitness Manager, Brooksby Village. “The sun was shining and many came out to run and walk the one mile course. We also had people along the route cheering on the participants and holding signs that read “Heartbreak Hill” and others as if they were running the Boston Marathon.”

This year there were three heats so there were three different start times. There was one winner per race heat.

Brooksby Village is a vibrant continuing care retirement community managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 90 acre campus is located in Peabody, MA and is home to more than 1700 residents.
