$400K Lottery Ticket Sold At Peabody Market

Amanda Goffermann of Saugus is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize.

PEABODY, MA — A Peabody market sold a Lucky for Life ticket worth nearly $400,000 last month, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Amanda Gofferman of Saugus bought the winning ticket that had a five-number match in the multi-state Lucky for Life game.

Gofferman won $25,000 a year for the rest of her life and chose the $390,000 cash payout.

She told the Mass Lottery that she won on random numbers that she had been playing for about two years.

She bought her ticket at the Lowell Street Market in Peabody.
