Today is Tuesday, July 10. Here are five things to know in Peabody today.
- Paving today: Wiseman and Sheffield drives are scheduled for paving today. Peabody police say no parking will be allowed on either street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. or the vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense. Paving will be postponed to the next day, however, in the event of foul weather.
- To market, to market...: While there won't be any four-legged porkers at the anytime soon, you can stop down today between 2 and 7 p.m. for all sorts of other goodies, however, at the farmers market. Live entertainment today will be provided by Alexandra Gallant and Derek Rice.

- 7-Eleven celebrates 7/11: Tomorrow is free Slurpee day at 7-Eleven's everywhere between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. while supplies last. Why? Because the company is turning 85 years old.
