5 Things You Need to Know Today, July 26

1. Weather: Good chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning and continuing into the afternoon. The high for the day is 83 degrees. The National Weather Service says storms could be become severe late tonight, bringing large hail, damaging winds and heavy rains.

3. The Peabody Babe Ruth 15-year-old all-stars are in the semi-finals of the state tournament tonight (5:30) at World Series Park in Saugus.
4. A Felton Reunion: The Felton family is holding its 23rd annual reunion at the Smith Barn at  on July 27-28. 5. Backstage Salon & Spa in Rowley is on Friday from 5-9 p.m. in memory of the late Danielle Yagjian, a Peabody native who worked at the salon. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Danielle Yagjian Foundation, which aims to help other families with the financial burden they may experience fighting cancer.
