5 Things You Need to Know Today, June 11

Today is Monday, June 11. Here are five things to know in Peabody today.

1. Farmers market: The opens the season tomorrow over at its new location at the .
2. If you were hoping to pick strawberries at soon, you'll have to go elsewhere. The farm says that due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no U-Pick strawberries this year, but you can still buy them from the farm store, starting mid June. The store and greenhouse are open Thursday to Sunday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Produce will join the jam, honey and pies on the shelves soon. U-Pick raspberries will be ready in July, says the staff.
3. And speaking of the farm store, it will be open Wednesdays as well from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. until July 6, when summer hours at go into effect (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily).
4. So, who's excited for the last day of school tomorrow? What are you planning to do in celebration, if anything? 5. Party on the block: Mark your calendars, the is putting on its annual summer community block party on Saturday and says World Champion Stunt Biker Chris Poulos is going to be a special guest.
