Today is Wednesday, May 16. Here are five things to know today in Peabody.
- Today's weather: Chance of showers with a high near 69 degrees.
- Tanners sports today: Baseball travels to Salem along with girls' lacrosse, while girls' tennis heads to Gloucester and boys' lacrosse hosts Chelmsford -- all games are at 4 p.m. Softball travels to Salem tonight (7).
- PVMHS spring concert: The Performing Arts Department at will hold its tonight. Tickets are $5.
- PJs and bedtime stories: Put on your PJs, grab your blanket and a special friend then in the Children's Room at the Main Branch tonight at 7. Call 978-531-0100 ext. 29 to reserve your place on the rug.
- Welker at Fenwick: New England Patriots’ wide receiver Wes Welker will be hosting a clinic at this weekend, May 19-20 for kids ages 7-14. Kids will receive seven hours of instruction plus more than $150 in free merchandise.
