Here's what you need to know to get your long weekend started.

Today is Friday, May 25. Here are five things to know today in Peabody.
- Flagging veterans' graves: All veterans' graves at will be flagged today at 9 a.m. Breakfast and coffee will then be provided at by Mayor Ted Bettencourt's office for all volunteers between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
- Appreciation for the seniors: Peabody High's vocal and instrumental ensembles will perform an today at 10 a.m. at PVMHS.
- Tierney chats with readers: Congressman John Tierney will be our guest today from 11 a.m. - noon.
- Tanners' alumni lacrosse: This year's takes the field at 6 p.m. All PHS Lax alumni are welcome and there is a voluntary $20 dollar donation, which will be passed on to the current PVMHS lax program.
- Movie night tonight: The mayor's office is tonight at the . The special feature is "Dolphin's Tale," which starts at 8 p.m.
