Over 200 local business leaders and elected officials came out to Spinelli's Function Facility last night to celebrate 82 years of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce being the voice of the business community! Special thanks Community Credit Union for sponsoring the event and Hank Phillippi Ryan, investigative reporter for Channel 7, for an entertaining keynote.
Local businessman, Bob Wood, owner of Wood Trucking, was presented with the Harry Ankeles Community Service Award.
The PVMHS A Capella group, Full House, under the direction of Jon Simmons, Director of Performing Arts, opened the festivities with several pop selections. Centerpieces were graciously provided by Evans Flowers, a local florist celebrating 30 years in business.
