A Taste of Italy

Every ribbon cutting ceremony is a special event, but today was also a real party! Chamber members, city officials, friends and family turned out to welcome Marco's Authentic Italian Restaurant to the community.

Marco Stefanelli was born and raised in Italy.  From an early age, Marco had a passion and interest in food.  When he immigrated to the Unites States, food immediately became his profession. Working in various restaurants, he realized that his unique knowledge for the Italian cuisine could take him far in life if properly utilized.  The last step of his journey was to open a restaurant to share his passion with the community.

Located at 47 Newbury Street/Route 1 North (in the new plaza by Spring Hill Suites), chef and owner, Marco Stefanelli, had the group sampling many specialties from homemade Tortellini, Arrancini, Buccatini Alla Amatriciana and more. We overheard lots of talk for plans to come back.

With a beautiful modern and European decor, Marco's Restaurant is an ideal place for lunch or dinner, or meet up with friends to enjoy a glass of Proseco at the bar.  Open for lunch and dinner Monday thru Saturday 11A-11P; Sunday for Noon-10P (dinner menu only).  Dine in or take out.

Helpful tip:   If you're going, be sure to use the driveway entrance to SpringHill Suites to gain access to the new plaza.
