ALS Support Group to Meet in Peabody
The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter will host the meeting next Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center.

PEABODY, MA – The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter is holding a support group next Thursday in Peabody.
The group will meet August 25 from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center, 79 Central St. Ashley Corbin, a special events coordinator for the chapter, will join the group to provide information about the October Walks to Defeat ALS.
The chapter will hold a North Shore walk October 15 at Beverly High School, followed by a Boston walk October 22 at Carson Beach.

An overview of the day will be provided at next Thursday's meeting, and Corbin will be on hand to answer any questions. The chapter encourages families to attend one of the walks, even if you don't wish to form a team.
As always, the chapter has allotted time for open discussion as well.
