Peabody Route 128 Crash Closes Travel Lane, Jams Traffic Tuesday

PEABODY, MA — It was slow going on Route 128 northbound in Peabody on Tuesday morning after a crash near the Lowell Street Exit 39 blocked the right travel lane.

WBZ-AM reported that traffic quickly jammed approaching the scene at about 10:15 a.m.

The station reported at about 10:35 a.m. that the crash had cleared and all lanes had reopened. There was residual traffic jammed back to Centennial Drive at the time.
