Brooksby Village Residents Go the Distance at Annual Marathon

Peabody, MA - The energy was contagious as Brooksby Village residents took part in the annual Brooksby Village Marathon – held the same day as the Boston Marathon, adding an extra layer of excitement.

"It was another beautiful day for residents to get outside and participate in the annual Brooksby Village marathon,” said Brooksby Village Fitness Manager Rokia Paone. “Residents walked the 1.2-mile course, and medals were given to first-place winners. We also had team members cheering on the participants along the route. It was once again a wonderful day.”

From enthusiastic first-time participants to seasoned walkers, the Brooksby Village marathon always brings together residents and team members! Participants enjoy cheer stations, music, and friendly encouragement along the route, turning the marathon into a full-scale celebration.
