PEABODY, MA — A $1 million Massachusetts State Lottery ticket was recently bought at the 7-Eleven on Lowell Street in Peabody.
Hail Mary Trust of Quincy claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "$5,000,000 100X Cashword" instant ticket game.
The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 — before taxes.
The trustee said the winner plans on taking care of their mother as well as donating to animal causes.
The store receives a $10,000 bonus for the sale of this ticket.
