North Shore Woman Wins First $1 Million Instant Ticket Prize

NEWBURYPORT, MA — A North Shore woman is the first winner of the state's new "$1,000,000 High Roller" instant ticket game.

Taylor Johnson, of Newbury, said she intends to put the money — which she took as a $650,000 one-time payment, before taxes — into her home and to buy a new car.

Johnson purchased her winning ticket at the Shell on Storey Avenue in Newburyport.

The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
