PEABODY, MA — The inaugural Jason's Legacy Golf Tournament is set to honor Jason Bernard and support anti-bullying and youth mental health efforts this summer.
The event is scheduled for Aug. 24 at Trull Brook Golf Course in Tewksbury.
The event is being held through Jason's Legacy, which was created by Jason Bernard's family. Bernard is remembered as "a kind, caring, and loved 14-year-old whose life was tragically cut short after enduring bullying."
The family created Jason's Legacy "to honor his memory and turn heartbreak into action by raising awareness, promoting kindness, supporting youth mental health, and helping prevent bullying in our schools and communities."
"When you join us on August 24th at Trull Brook Golf Course, you're helping keep Jason's legacy alive and supporting efforts to ensure no child feels alone," organizers said.
Registration includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, raffles and contests, and a cash bar.
