PEABODY, MA — A Peabody man cashed in on a $500,000 Massachusetts State Lottery winning ticket sold at a North Shore convenience store.
David McHenry scratched the winner of a $500,000 top prize in the "$500,000 Frenzy" instant ticket game.
McHenry received a one-time payment of $500,000 before taxes.
The ticket was purchased at E Market Convenience Store & Deli, 598 Lowell Street in Peabody.
The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
This was the seventh top prize of $500,000 claimed for this game.
