Peabody Youth Softball Team Needs Help Heading To Regionals

PEABODY, MA — The hometown state champions are looking for some help taking the next step on their summer softball journey.

The Peabody U-11 All-Stars qualified for the East Region tournament and are looking to raise funds to offset the costs of the trip to Maryland.

Every dollar helps cover travel, lodging, meals, and tournament expenses.

Those looking to help can donate here.

There are also two dine-out events where a portion of purchases made when mentioning the "Peabody Softball" team goes back to the travel fund.

The first is at Prince Pizza in Saugus on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

The second is at the Wardhurst Restaurant & Bar on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m."Dine at The Wardhurst Restaurant & Bar.

Residents who can't donate or attend one of the fundraising events are encouraged to help by sharing the team's Facebook post and fundraising page with friends, family, coworkers and local businesses.
