PEABODY, MA — Peabody families will have a chance to support local public schools at a summer fundraiser planned at Emerson Park.
The Peabody Education Foundation will host a Family Fest on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday.
The foundation said the event is intended to benefit its work in Peabody's public schools.
The donation amount is $10 per person, with a maximum of $20 per family or group. All proceeds will benefit the Peabody Education Foundation and its mission to enrich Peabody's public schools.
Visitors can expect lawn games, a giant inflatable obstacle course and more during the afternoon event at Emerson Park.
Food and drinks will also be available on site. Food will be available for purchase, and adults will be able to use a beer and wine tent during the event.
A DJ is also part of the entertainment.
