Peabody Community Market Returns Sunday At Covenant Church

PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents will have another chance to shop local this weekend when the next Peabody Community Market is held Sunday at Community Covenant Church.

The market is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m.

Returning visitors can expect a different lineup than the previous event.

"We're happy to have such great vendors with us. If you came to the last one, come again for a new mix," organizers said.

Food will also be part of the afternoon. Attendees can enjoy dinner with Heavnly Dogs and Catering and Tiffany's TastyTreats.

Along with shopping and food, the market will serve as a collection point for shelf-stable donations tied to a Scout Eagle project. Organizers are collecting shelf-stable items for one of the Scout's Eagle project.

The goal is to help stock a neighborhood pantry.

Suggested donations include dry baking mixes, seasonings and powder drink mixes, along with other shelf-stable items. Residents are asked to bring donations to the Scout table at the market.

Those who donate at the Scout table at the market will receive a coupon at Tiffany's Tasty Treats or can enter a raffle with D&G Baked Goods.
