PEABODY, MA — The Peabody hockey community is rallying around a family with three young children following the death of the children's 41-year-old mother.
A "Meal Train" campaign has been set up for the family of Christina Cooper, who died last week following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 41.
Those interested in providing a meal for the family can sign up for a day and time here. The site also accepts monetary and gift card donations.
Cooper grew up in Winthrop and attended Endicott College. She lived in Peabody and was the mother of Landon, Natalie and Myles, and stepmother of Avery.
A remembrance and prayer service will be held for her on Saturday at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home on Chestnut Street from 10 a.m. to noon.
