Peabody Education Foundation Opens Grant Cycle

PEABODY, MA — Peabody teachers and school leaders can now apply for 2026-27 grants through the Peabody Education Foundation.

The program offers funding for classroom programs and resources that fall outside the normal school budget in Peabody Public Schools.

The Peabody Education Foundation describes PEF Grants as its signature program. The grants are meant to give Peabody teachers and schools access to supplemental programs and resources. Applications are submitted to the PEF Grants Committee for consideration and approval.

Individual Teacher Grants allow teachers to submit requests for their own classrooms, with a cap of $2,500. School-wide Grants allow principals and department heads to submit requests that benefit entire grades or schools, with a cap of $10,000.

Both types of applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until Dec. 31. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis for both grant categories.

Since 1985, the Peabody Education Foundation has raised more than $1 million from within the community to bring innovative programs to public schools.
