Peabody One-Way Road Reversal In Central Street Project

PEABODY, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has revised the schedule for a planned one-way reversal on Pound Lane, a traffic change tied to the ongoing Central Street Improvement Project.

Pound Lane, which is normally one-way in its usual direction, will instead run one-way in the opposite direction on those days.

The updated work period is scheduled for Thursday into Friday.

"Residents and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, and to use caution when traveling near Pound Lane during the revised work period," the city said.

MassDOT also said traffic controls will be in place while the temporary pattern is active.
