Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, a multi-specialty physician practice with offices across eastern Massachusetts and an affiliate of Atrius Health, recently honored Beverly resident Dr. William Boyd with the Robert H. Ebert Award of Distinction.
Dr. Boyd, an internist at Harvard Vanguard’s Peabody location, was recently appointed the Northern Regional Medical Director of Harvard Vanguard. He has practiced with Harvard Vanguard for 10 years.
The Ebert award honors the memory of Robert H. Ebert, MD, Dean of Harvard Medical School from 1965 to 1977, and the visionary founder of Harvard Community Health Plan, the forerunner of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. The award is given to individuals who stand out as role models, and whose contributions reflect extraordinary initiative and effort in support of Harvard Vanguard's mission.
