Mortgage Executive Magazine, a new, fast growing and soon to be leading resource for mortgage originators, released its first annual Top Originators rankings on February 10, 2012. The list ranks the nation's top 200 mortgage originators and top 100 mortgage companies.

The last few years have been turbulent in the mortgage industry. Over 70% of the competition has been swept away. The mortgage industry has experienced dramatic changes and for many originators it has been challenging.
