'Back On Track' Tip Line Set Up For Potential Hidden Camera Victims
The Middlesex District Attorney set up the tip line for clients of the Peabody chiropractor accused of filming clients in the bathroom.
PEABODY, MA — The Middlesex District Attorney's Office has set up a tip line for North Shore residents who were clients of a Peabody chiropractor accused of illegally filming people in the bathroom of his Chestnut Street business.
Scott Kline, 44, who lives in Middleton, was arraigned in Peabody District Court last week on a charge of photographing an unsuspecting nude person and was released on $10,000 bail, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office, which is prosecuting the case because of a potential conflict of interest with the Essex DA's Office.
The DA's Office said Peabody police were contacted on July 14 by a Back on Track patient who said he was using the public bathroom in the office when he said he noticed a black plastic coat hook hanging on the wall next to the toilet that seemed out of place.

The man said he then saw a blue light on the side of the hanger and that it "appeared to be a hidden spy camera complete with a lens on the front, USB port on/off switch and an SD memory card."
The DA's Office said the man documented what he saw on his cell phone and called Peabody police.

The DA's Office said a search warrant search of the office found the camera was no longer in the bathroom, but that there was evidence it had previously been there. Police said they also seized "several pieces of digital evidence, including hard drives and SD cards."
Now the DA's Office has set up the tip line for those who believe they may have been a victim as well.
The tip line is 781-897-6725.
Callers will be asked to leave a name and date of birth, phone number and dates and times when they were in the office.
The DA's Office said those calling for another reason should leave their name and phone number along with a brief description of why they are calling.
The DA's Office said someone from the office will return the call in a timely manner.
