Become Peabody's Next Big Star

Peabody Downtown Association seeks acts for "Stars On Main, Satellite Edition" talent show to benefit the PVMHS Performing Arts Department.

They say America’s got talent, but how about you? Are you a singer? Dancer? Juggler? A violin virtuoso? A budding master magician, perhaps? An actor? Whatever your talent, the Peabody Downtown Association wants you to audition to strut your stuff at the Stars On Main, Satellite Edition, a night of fun and entertainment for all ages to benefit the PVMHS Performing Arts Department. Grand prize winner to receive a one-year talent contract with WSM Talent Agency (www.wsmtalent.com).

Slated for the evening of May 21, 2016, Stars On Main, Satellite Edition will be held at the PVMHS Auditorium, 485 Lowell Street in Peabody. To be part of the evenings cavalcade of performers simply audition at the Knights of Columbus on Tuesday, January 12 or Friday, January 15, 2016, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Acts age 10 and over of all abilities and modes of artistic expression are welcome.

Entrants must provide a thumb drive of talent, a sheet protector, the completed application, along with a labeled current photo to the auditions. Proof of age is required at the audition.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the PVMHS Performing Arts Department. Your support will provide valuable resources to the Performing Arts’ students; provide funding for workshops, defray costs related to attendance at various competitions and performances, uniforms, purchase and upkeep of equipment for a successful program; and much more. These items are a vital contribution to the continued success of the Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Performing Arts Department.

Tickets to Stars On Main, Satellite Edition can be purchased for $12 general admission, $10 for students/seniors and $15.00 at door. Tickets may be purchased directly from performers. Tickets may also be ordered online via email at STARSoMSE@gmail.com
