Beverly, Peabody Students Among Salem State Alpha Omega Psi Honor Society Inductees

SALEM, MA — A Beverly geography major and Peabody media and communications major were among two dozen Salem State students recently inducted into the Alpha Omega Psi honor society at the school for their strong academic performance and engagement on campus.

Beverly geography major Nicolas Cristoforo and Peabody media and communication major Cassia Picardy were honored for completing the university's Emerging Scholars Program and received a formal certificate and medallion to wear at commencement.

"The students in the Emerging Scholars Program were hard-working and dedicated this past year," program coordinator Carolyn Tracy said. " They persevered to meet the requirements and we are so proud of their efforts."
