Bishop Fenwick Takes Easy Win Over Stoneham
Five RBIs by Chad Lessard and some hot bats from the rest of the Crusaders' batting order made for a rout of Stoneham.
baseball advanced to the quarterfinal round of the North Division III tournament with a shut out of Stoneham on Saturday, 11-0. Chad Lessard knocked in five runs for the Crusaders for the evening.
Bishop Fenwick now hosts Lynnfield Monday at 4 p.m. The Pioneers were seeded No. 6 in the tournament with Fenwick at No. 3. The winner of Monday’s game will face either Newburyport or Austin Prep, which also play Monday afternoon.
