is pleased to present “North Shore Memories,” a solo exhibition of new collage work by Karen Bettencourt.

“I have always been truly fond of that which is old, weathered, rusted or distressed. I search endlessly for old handwritten letters, paper, tickets, photographs, hotel bills, rusted metal, and aged or distressed wood. Some of these treasures I scan to help me create my digital collage work. Then, everything gets sorted into boxes for use in my material collage and assemblage” – excerpt from Karen’s artist statement.
