Brooksby Village Employees Getting in Shape at Work

Peabody, MA -- It’s the New Year and almost everyone wants to get in shape.

At Brooksby Village people are working out at work!

“When I am done exercising, I feel energized and refreshed, ready for a good, productive work day,” said Rev. Jessica McArdle, Protestant Pastoral Associate, Brooksby Village. “I try to go at least a couple of times of week, in the morning before heading into my office for the day.”

The Fitness Center at Brooksby Village is free for all employees and classes are $5/ class or $20/month unlimited classes for group exercise.

“We have many who take classes during their lunch break or after work and many who work out in the fitness center before or after work,” said Rokia Paone, Fitness Manager, Brooksby Village. ”So many people have said they love how convenient it is, it’s a beautiful, well-appointed fitness center, the equipment, weights, etc. are in great condition and you can’t beat that it’s free!”

Brooksby Village is a continuing care retirement communities developed and managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 90 acre campus is located in Peabody, MA and is home to more than 1700 residents.
