Centennial Parade Committee Hosts Kick-Off Gathering

The City of Peabody’s Centennial Parade Committee is hosting a one-year kick off gathering on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m., at the Torigian Community Life Center, at 79 Central Street, Peabody.

The kick-off gathering will be an opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and report on progress that has been made since the initial parade organization meeting in July.

The Centennial Parade Committee will have applications and further information available with reference to the organization of the parade and events.

All are welcome to attend this meeting.

Peabody celebrates its 100th anniversary as a city next year, and the city needs volunteers to help make sure the many planned events become a reality.
