Champion for Youth Award Adult Recipients Chosen by Young People

In its efforts to localize the national Above the Influence Campaign which inspires youth to think critically about drug use and to reject negative influences, the Healthy Peabody Collaborative recognizes 63 adult community members in Peabody as individuals who help young people to live above the influence of drugs, alcohol and other negative behaviors.

Award recipients are chosen by young people in Peabody during various Above the Influence events and activities throughout the year and receive a letter of recognition and a certificate of appreciation from the City of Peabody for being a real example of a person who is making a positive difference in the life of a child.
