City of Peabody Jobs Available

The city has several positions available:

• Basketball referee - Peabody Recreation is seeking part time basketball referees and substitutes for the Peabody Elementary Basketball League. Applicants should have experience in basketball and working/ volunteering with elementary age children. Referee certification preferred but not required. Program runs from January 12 – March 18.
• Electric Equipment Repairman - The Peabody Municipal Light Plant is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Working Foreman Electric Station Equipment Repairman in their Engineering Maintenance Division. The ideal applicant shall have a minimum of 10 years continuous experience working in the electric utility generation and substation industry (an emphasis on substations), with at least five of these years related experience leading a crew of four or more.
• Cashier - McVann-O’Keefe Memorial Rink.
